NFL Parlays Week 9

My Week 8 parlay column hit rock bottom as I went 0-3. I couldn’t even hit on a same-game parlay, which has been coming through for us over the last month.

My longshot parlay (SEA ML + NO ML + HOU ML + JAX 1H -0.5) came the closest to delivering for us. The Saints, Jaguars, and Seahawks held up their end of the bargain, but the Texans couldn’t get the job done late in the fourth quarter against the Panthers.

However, the good news is it’s a new week, which gives us another chance to turn things around. Let’s get into my best NFL Week 9 parlay picks.

NFL Week 9 Parlay Picks

All NFL betting odds used for these Week 9 parlays are current as of Wednesday, Nov. 1, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best Parlay: NO ML + SEA +6 (+147)

Longshot Parlay: TB-HOU Under 40 + CLE ML + MIA ML + MIN-ATL 1H Under 17.5 (+943)

Same Game Parlay: PHI-DAL Over 3.5 FGs + PHI Over 23.5 (+256)

NFL Week 9 Best Parlay Bet

Week 9 Best Parlay (+147)

  • Saints ML (-340) vs Bears
  • Seahawks +6 (-110) vs Ravens

After dropping consecutive games to the Texans and the Jaguars, the Saints wrapped up the AFC South portion of their schedule with an 11-point win over the Colts. New Orleans gave up its fair share of points to Indianapolis, but got back into the win column.

The Saints will go from facing Gardner Minshew to Bears rookie QB Tyson Bagent, who struggled in Week 8 against the Chargers. I don’t envision New Orleans’ defense having any issues with the rookie, and the Saints’ offense should put up points at Caesars Superdome.

Along with the Saints moneyline at a chalky (-340), I’m taking the Seahawks to cover the spread when they travel across the country to play the Ravens on Sunday. Seattle is 1-1 against the spread as a road underdog this season, while Baltimore is 2-1 ATS as a home favorite.

It will be a tough game for the Seahawks since the Ravens have the best scoring defense in the NFL (15.1 points per game allowed). However, Seattle has the wideouts (D.K. Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Tyler Lockett) to make this Ravens’ secondary work. If Seattle can keep Geno Smith upright, I like its chances to cover.

NFL Week 9 Longshot Parlay Bet

Week 9 Longshot Parlay (+943)

  • Buccaneers vs Texans Under 40 (-110)
  • Browns ML (-360) vs Cardinals
  • Dolphins ML (+124) vs Chiefs
  • Vikings vs Falcons 1H Under 17.5 (-110)

There are a ton of games on the Week 9 slate that could go many different ways, so I changed up the longshot parlay with a mixture of moneyline, total, and spread plays.

To lead things off, I’m taking Under 40 points in the matchup between the Buccaneers and the Texans. Tampa Bay’s offense has struggled in its last three games, averaging 12.3 points per contest. Now, the Bucs will play a Texans defense that has allowed 16.3 points per game over that span. I foresee a 20-17 game between these two teams.

Additionally, I’m taking the Browns and Dolphins on the moneyline. Cleveland is 2-1 with PJ Walker at quarterback, and the Browns’ defense has a tremendous opportunity to contribute a defensive touchdown against Cardinals rookie QB Clayton Tune.

As for the Dolphins, this is an excellent opportunity to prove they can compete with the best teams in the NFL. Miami got smashed by the Bills early in the season and then lost to the Eagles a couple of weeks ago. The Chiefs are looking to bounce back after losing to Denver last week, but Tua Tagovailoa and Co. will make a couple more plays to get the win.

Lastly, I’m rolling with the first half under between the Vikings and Falcons. Atlanta’s offense leaves much to be desired, scoring 6.1 first-half points per game (30th in the NFL). Meanwhile, the Vikings will likely start rookie QB Jaren Hall after losing Kirk Cousins to a season-ending injury.

NFL Week 9 Same Game Parlay Bet

Cowboys vs Eagles Same Game Parlay (+256)

  • Field Goals Made: Over 3.5 (+105)
  • Eagles: Over 23.5 Points (-125)

The Eagles let us down in our SGP last week, but I’m going back to them one more time when they play the Cowboys on Sunday afternoon.

In this highly-anticipated NFC East clash, I’m expecting to see at least four field goals made between Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey and Eagles kicker Jake Elliott. Aubrey has made at least two field goals in six of seven games, while Elliott has made two-plus in five of eight contests.

I’m pairing that with the Eagles team total Over 23.5 points, as they’ve scored 38 and 31 points in back-to-back games. If Philadelphia can start fast, they should get over this threshold, even against a tough Dallas defense.
