Fresh off their Super Bowl victory, their second in four years, the Kansas City Chiefs are poised for another strong run in 2023.

With star quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the charge, the Chiefs are ready to defend their title in the highly competitive AFC.

Their preparations for the new season have involved significant roster changes, especially on the offensive line.

Let’s look at the latest Chiefs betting odds for the 2023 NFL season.

Chiefs Futures Betting Odds

Note: These NFL odds are current as of Thursday, June 1, and provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Win Super Bowl: +600
  • Win AFC Championship: +330
  • Win AFC West: -165
  • Make Playoffs: Yes (-450) / No (+360)
  • Regular-Season Win Total: Over 11.5 (-140) / Under 11.5 (+120)

Chiefs Super Bowl 58 Odds

Chiefs: Win Super Bowl (+600)

After raising the Lombardi Trophy in February, the Chiefs (+600) are unsurprisingly the favorites in the preseason Super Bowl odds.

However, their roster has undergone significant changes in the last few months. Wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman found new homes in the AFC East, while offensive tackles Andrew Wylie and Orlando Brown Jr. also departed.

Kansas City did manage to secure the services of former Jaguars right tackle Jawaan Taylor in free agency, which should help alleviate some of those o-line concerns.

The Chiefs’ front office has shown it can effectively maneuver the pieces around the core of Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and defensive lineman Chris Jones.

With that trio and Andy Reid still at the forefront, Kansas City will contend for its third Super Bowl title in five years.

Chiefs AFC Championship Odds

Chiefs: Win AFC Championship (+330)

Kansas City has remarkably hosted the last five AFC Championship games, winning three and losing the other two in overtime.

Based on that track record, betting on the Chiefs at this price makes plenty of sense. However, the AFC is as deep and talented as ever.

Even with Mahomes, arguably the greatest quarterback we’ve ever seen, it’s hard to imagine this run continuing in perpetuity.

Chiefs AFC West Winner Odds

Chiefs: Win AFC West (-165)

As has been the case over the past few seasons, the Chiefs are heavy favorites in the preseason AFC West odds.

Given Kansas City’s dominance of the division, winning seven straight AFC West titles, that number probably isn’t set high enough.

Still, laying -165 and locking up your money until January isn’t the most intriguing option.

Chiefs Make Playoffs Odds

Chiefs: Make Playoffs (-450)

The Andy Reid-led Chiefs have a strong track record of making it to the playoffs, having qualified for the postseason in all but one season since he took over in 2013.

The year they missed the playoffs (2014), the Chiefs still managed a 9-7 record.

That perennial success, coupled with Kansas City’s recent Super Bowl victory, explains why the odds are significantly tilted toward the Chiefs making the playoffs in 2023.

Barring a significant injury to Mahomes, this team will return to the postseason.

Chiefs Regular-Season Win Total Odds

Chiefs: Over 11.5 Wins (-140)

The Chiefs have consistently racked up victories in the regular season, posting five consecutive 12-win seasons and six in the last seven years.

Even with a first-place schedule and some tough teams in the division, expect the Chiefs to continue this trend and secure 12 or more wins this upcoming season.
