The Cleveland Browns displayed big potential in Week 6, edging Super Bowl favorite San Francisco despite the absence of quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Can the Browns build on that momentum?

We dive into that question and more as we break down our NFL Week 7 best bets.

NFL Week 7 Predictions

All NFL betting odds used for these Week 7 predictions are current as of Monday, Oct. 16, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Browns vs Colts Prediction

Best Bet: CLE -2 (-110)

The Browns’ top-rated defense did most of the heavy lifting against the 49ers, which was needed with Watson out.

If Cleveland doesn’t turn the ball over and allows its defense to play to its strengths – the Browns are allowing an NFL-low 200.4 yards per game – the Browns should take care of business here regardless of who plays quarterback.

Commanders vs Giants Prediction

Best Bet: NYG +2 (-112)

The Giants’ offense has now gone three straight games without scoring a touchdown.

They’re 31st in the NFL in yards (265.5 per game) and last in scoring (11.8 points per game). But their woeful offensive line is coming off possibly its best showing of the season with Tyrod Taylor under center.

This is a potential get-right opportunity for the Giants, one of the NFL’s biggest underachievers of 2023.

Bills vs Patriots Prediction

Best Bet: BUF -9 (-110)

This is a lot of points for a divisional road game, but it’s hard to trust the Patriots at this point.

New England has looked like the worst team in the league over the last month.

With only 20 points over their last three games, the Patriots will have their hands full trying to keep pace with Josh Allen and Co. On top of that, their defense is also banged up.

This spread is worth taking so long as it stays under 10.

Steelers vs Rams Prediction

Best Bet: Under 43 (-110)

The Under has hit in four of Pittsburgh’s first five games, with the only exception being its Week 2 win over Cleveland. That game saw the Steelers score two defensive touchdowns.

Look for that trend to continue against the Rams, who are expected to be without top rusher Kyren Williams because of a sprained ankle.

Falcons vs Buccaneers Prediction

Best Bet: TB -2.5 (-110)

The Buccaneers have come back to Earth a bit after their surprising 2-0 start, but are the Falcons any better?

Atlanta has scored 16 or fewer points in three of its last four games. It seems like Desmond Ridder is holding his team back.

This is a prime bounce-back opportunity for the Buccaneers after a 20-6 loss to the first-place Detroit Lions. Take Tampa Bay up to a field goal.
