NFL teams truly show how good they are in Week 3.

Teams that start 3-0 are a virtual shoo-in to make the playoffs. Historically, they have a 51% chance of winning their division and a 20% chance of earning their conference’s top seed. On the other hand, teams that start 0-3 have just a 3% chance of reaching the postseason.

Here are the current Week 3 betting odds and lines for the 2023 NFL season.

NFL Week 3 Odds & Betting Lines

All NFL betting odds cited below are current as of Monday, Sept. 18, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers

Thursday, Sept. 21, 8:15 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Giants (+360) @ 49ers (-470)
  • Spread: Giants +10 (-110) @ 49ers -10 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 45 (-110) / Under 45 (-110)

The Giants cheated death in their historic comeback against the Cardinals. But without Saquon Barkley (ankle), it’s tough to see how they can keep up with the 2-0 Niners.

New England Patriots @ New York Jets

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Patriots (-130) @ Jets (+110)
  • Spread: Patriots -2 (-112) @ Jets +2 (-108)
  • Over/Under: Over 38 (-110) / Under 38 (-110)

The Jets are a home ‘dog against the winless Pats despite their 1-1 record. With the way Zach Wilson played Sunday, it’s not hard to see why.

Indianapolis Colts @ Baltimore Ravens

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Colts (+310) @ Ravens (-395)
  • Spread: Colts +8 (-110) @ Ravens -8 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 44.5 (-110) / Under 44.5 (-110)

The Colts won their first game for Shane Steichen but may have lost quarterback Anthony Richardson to a concussion. The Ravens are 2-0 after a hard-fought win over the rival Bengals.

Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Titans (+164) @ Browns (-198)
  • Spread: Titans +4.5 (-110) @ Browns -4.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 42 (-110) / Under 42 (-110)

The Titans have a +2 point differential after playing two super-tight games. Week 3 against the Browns shouldn’t be any different.

Atlanta Falcons @ Detroit Lions

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Falcons (+170) @ Lions (-205)
  • Spread: Falcons +4.5 (-110) @ Lions -4.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 47 (-110) / Under 47 (-110)

The Falcons are 2-0 after their one-point win over the Packers. They’ll play their first road game in Detroit, who lost in OT to the Seahawks.

Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Texans (+320) @ Jaguars (-410)
  • Spread: Texans +9 (-110) @ Jaguars -9 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 45.5 (-110) / Under 45.5 (-110)

The Jaguars are 1-1 after a close loss to the Chiefs at home. They should rebound against Houston, who is 0-2 and has been outscored 56-29 through two games.

Denver Broncos @ Miami Dolphins

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Broncos (+245) @ Dolphins (-305)
  • Spread: Broncos +7 (-110) @ Dolphins -7 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 47 (-110) / Under 47 (-110)

The Dolphins are 2-0 and could be the class of the AFC. They should easily get to 3-0 against Sean Payton and the hapless Broncos.

New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Saints (+105) @ Packers (-125)
  • Spread: Saints +2 (-110) @ Packers -2 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 43 (-110) / Under 43 (-110)

This is Green Bay’s home opener, and Packers fans are undoubtedly curious to see whether their team can hang with arguably the class of the NFC South.

Buffalo Bills @ Washington Commanders

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Bills (-270) @ Commanders (+220)
  • Spread: Bills -6.5 (-110) @ Commanders +6.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 45.5 (-110) / Under 45.5 (-110)

After winning their first two, Washington gets its first true test of the season. The Bills looked more like themselves in their rout of the Raiders on Sunday.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings

Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Chargers (-115) @ Vikings (-105)
  • Spread: Chargers -1 (-110) @ Vikings +1 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 51.5 (-110) / Under 51.5 (-110)

Some might have picked this as a Super Bowl preview before the season, but now it’s a matchup of two teams desperate to pick up their first win. The winner will have life, and the loser will fall into the abyss.

Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks

Sunday, Sept. 24, 4:05 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Panthers (+180) @ Seahawks (-218)
  • Spread: Panthers +4.5 (-110) @ Seahawks -4.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 43 (-110) / Under 43 (-110)

Geno Smith and the Seahawks scored a huge win in Detroit on Sunday. Can they keep it going against Bryce Young and the Panthers at home?

Dallas Cowboys @ Arizona Cardinals

Sunday, Sept. 24, 4:25 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Cowboys (-800) @ Cardinals (+550)
  • Spread: Cowboys -12.5 (-110) @ Cardinals +12.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 43.5 (-110) / Under 43.5 (-110)

The Cowboys have been the NFL’s most impressive team through two weeks, outscoring the Giants and Jets by a margin of 70-10. They’re a heavy road favorite against the Cardinals, who just blew a 21-point third-quarter lead to the Giants to fall to 0-2.

Chicago Bears @ Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, Sept. 24, 4:25 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Bears (+525) @ Chiefs (-750)
  • Spread: Bears +12.5 (-110) @ Chiefs -12.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 49 (-110) / Under 49 (-110)

Justin Fields and the Bears have looked hapless in their 0-2 start. A date with the Chiefs, who figured it out with the returns of Travis Kelce and Chris Jones, shouldn’t help.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Las Vegas Raiders

Sunday, Sept. 24, 8:20 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Steelers (-115) @ Raiders (-105)
  • Spread: Steelers -1 (-110) @ Raiders +1 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 44 (-110) / Under 44 (-110)

The Raiders return home with their tails between their legs after a shellacking at the hands of the Bills. This should be a more entertaining game on Sunday Night Football.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Monday, Sept. 25, 7:15 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Eagles (-290) @ Buccaneers (+235)
  • Spread: Eagles -6.5 (-115) @ Buccaneers +6.5 (-105)
  • Over/Under: Over 45 (-110) / Under 45 (-110)

The Eagles have sleepwalked their way to a 2-0 record by winning a pair of closer-than-expected games. The Bucs are also somehow 2-0 after beating the Bears in Week 2, but this prime-time affair could be Philadelphia’s wake-up call.

Los Angeles Rams @ Cincinnati Bengals

Monday, Sept. 25, 8:15 p.m. ET

  • Moneyline: Rams (+190) @ Bengals (-230)
  • Spread: Rams +5.5 (-110) @ Bengals -5.5 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Over 46.5 (-110) / Under 46.5 (-110)

The Bengals are reeling after their second straight 0-2 start, and Joe Burrow may be injured for this Super Bowl 56 rematch. The Rams, who were competitive in their seven-point loss to the Niners, are better than advertised and could deliver a devastating blow to Cincinnati’s season.

NFL Week 3 Betting Trends

Betting NFL Week 3 can be a difficult task since we still don’t have much of a sample size on teams. It can be tough to tell if a team’s first two games are a true indication of who they are or a product of various circumstances.

Here are some general Week 3 betting trends from the 2022 season:

  • Favorites finished the week 7-9 straight up.
  • Home teams were only 8-8 straight up but 6-9-1 against the spread.
  • Home favorites were 1-5-1 ATS, while home underdogs went 5-4.
  • Unders won for the third straight week, going 8-6-2.
