With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, the NFL playoff race will continue to heat up.

We’ve hit Week 13 of the schedule, which is highlighted by the NFC Championship rematch between the Eagles and 49ers in Philadelphia.

Let’s break down that game and more in our best bets for Week 13.

NFL Week 13 Predictions

All NFL betting odds used for these Week 13 predictions are current as of Monday, Nov. 27, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

49ers vs Eagles Prediction

Best Bet: PHI +2.5 (-102)

This NFC Championship rematch opened as a pick ’em before moving in the 49ers’ favor. I sort of get it. Again, sort of.

Philadelphia looks primed for a letdown after rallying from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Buffalo in overtime. San Francisco, meanwhile, has had a few extra days to rest after hammering Seattle on Thanksgiving.

That said, I can’t bet against Philadelphia. I just can’t.

The Eagles, already an NFL-best 7-2-2 ATS, are listed as underdogs for only the second time this season and the first time at home since 2021. They’ve shown an ability to beat the NFL’s best teams, with victories over the Dolphins, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Bills in four of their last five games.

Need I say more?

Broncos vs Texans Prediction

Best Bet: HOU -3 (-115)

The only team hotter than Philadelphia might be Denver. Winners of five straight, the Broncos have played their way into the AFC playoff picture at 6-5.

As much as I want to buy into their resurgence, I’m looking for them to cool off on the road. The Broncos are just 2-2 away from home, including 1-2-1 ATS.

Houston hasn’t fared all that well at NRG Stadium, owning a 2-4 ATS record at home. However, I like this as a potential bounce-back spot following a 24-21 loss to Jacksonville.

C.J. Stroud threw two more touchdowns, giving him 10 over the last four games.

Lions vs Saints Prediction

Best Bet: DET -4 (-110)

The Lions have looked a bit suspect in recent weeks. They barely snuck past Chicago in Week 11 and laid an egg on Thanksgiving, losing 29-22 to Green Bay.

Curiously, the Lions have played better away from Ford Field. They’re 4-1 ATS on the road, including 3-0 as a favorite.

The Saints, beneficiaries of being in the lowly NFC South, are in a tie for first place yet still haven’t gotten on track. After adding Derek Carr, they’re just 19th in scoring (20.8 PPG). On top of that, they’re 0-4 ATS at home.

Expect those struggles to continue on Sunday.

Falcons vs Jets Prediction

Best Bet: ATL -3 (-105)

Believe it or not, things can get worse for the Jets without Zach Wilson.

Tim Boyle will make his second straight start after throwing a pair of interceptions on Black Friday against the Dolphins, one of which was a Hail Mary returned 99 yards for a touchdown. I’ll spare Jets fans any additional reminders.

Meanwhile, the Falcons snapped their three-game losing skid by beating New Orleans. More importantly, they continued to prioritize Bijan Robinson, who scored for the third time in four games.

That’s enough to sell me on them to beat the Jets.

Chargers vs Patriots Prediction

Best Bet: Under 40.5 (-108)

Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe, it doesn’t matter. The Patriots’ offense is dreadful.

New England has scored 13 points over the last two games and averages just 13.5 PPG for the season, ranking 31st in the NFL. As such, the total has gone Under in seven of its 10 games.

Even against Justin Herbert and the Chargers, 40.5 points is simply too many.
