The New Orleans Saints had a challenging 2022 season, posting a 7-10 record. Despite that mark, they finished just one game behind the Buccaneers in the NFC South standings.

The Saints had to endure a series of injuries on both sides of the ball, significantly impacting their performance. However, the offseason brought hope as New Orleans finally upgraded at quarterback by signing Derek Carr.

As we get closer to the upcoming season, let’s look at the latest Saints betting odds for 2023.

Saints Futures Betting Odds

Note: These NFL betting odds are current as of Monday, June 26, and provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Win Super Bowl: +3500
  • Win NFC Championship: +1300
  • Win NFC South: +120
  • Make Playoffs: Yes (-180) / No (+155)
  • Regular-Season Win Total: Over 9.5 (+105) / Under 9.5 (-125)

Saints Super Bowl 58 Odds

Saints: Win Super Bowl (+3500)

In the latest Super Bowl 58 odds, the Saints are a dark-horse contender with 35-1 odds.

However, for them to lift the Lombardi Trophy, everything needs to fall into place. New QB Derek Carr is undoubtedly an upgrade over Andy Dalton, but he has yet to win a playoff game in his career (0-1).

For the Saints to have a shot at the Super Bowl, Carr will need wide receiver Michael Thomas to stay healthy and return to his peak form.

Saints NFC Championship Odds

Saints: Win NFC Championship (+1300)

The Saints’ odds of winning the NFC Championship are favorable for a team that has missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons.

It’s been five years since New Orleans last reached the NFC Championship Game, a memory still tainted by the infamous “NOLA No-Call," where the referees missed a blatant pass-interference penalty on the Rams.

New Orleans will likely need a year or two to progress before it can dream of another Super Bowl appearance.

Saints NFC South Winner Odds

Saints: Win NFC South (+120)

The Saints have the best odds to win the NFC South in 2023 and are the most experienced team in the division.

New Orleans has claimed four of the last six NFC South titles, and with Tampa Bay likely to regress following Tom Brady’s retirement; the Saints seem like a good bet.

Saints Make Playoffs Odds

Saints: Make Playoffs (-180)

The Saints’ odds of reaching the NFL playoffs in 2023 look promising.

New Orleans may have missed the playoffs each of the last two years, but its roster is more balanced this season, and Carr represents a significant upgrade at the game’s most important position.

Even if the Saints don’t top the division, their path to the playoffs in a relatively weak NFC seems pretty plausible.

Saints Regular-Season Win Total Odds

Saints: Over 9.5 Wins (+105)

The Saints’ regular season win total is set at 9.5 games, with the Under (-125) slightly favored against the Over (+105)

Despite not having won double-digit games in either of the last two seasons, the Over seems worth a shot at plus money, given New Orleans’ improved roster and the league’s most favorable schedule.
