The Los Angeles Rams didn’t look like defending Super Bowl champions last season.

An embarrassing 31-10 season-opening loss to the Bills set the tone for a dreadful season in LA, which saw stars Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Aaron Donald succumb to injury at various points.

While fans can’t argue with GM Les Snead after his win-now moves helped the Rams lift the Lombardi Trophy, it feels like the franchise will be paying the price for a while.

Let’s look at the Los Angeles Rams betting odds for the 2023 NFL season.

Rams Futures Betting Odds

Note: These NFL odds are current as of Wednesday, June 28, and provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Win Super Bowl: +6500
  • Win NFC Championship: +4500
  • Win NFC West: +1000
  • Make Playoffs: Yes (+300) / No (-370)
  • Regular-Season Win Total: Over 6.5 (-105) / Under 6.5 (-115)

Rams Super Bowl 58 Odds

Rams: Win Super Bowl (+6500)

Only six teams sit below the Rams in the latest Super Bowl 58 odds, which puts Los Angeles into the longshot category.

That’s pretty staggering for a franchise that celebrated a Super Bowl victory on its home field just 16 months ago.

And yet, it’s pretty fair after the Rams went 5-12 last season. Sure, injuries to key players played a role, but the more significant concern is the lack of depth on the roster.

Salary cap concerns have seen the team trade top corner Jalen Ramsey and part ways with linebackers Bobby Wagner and Leonard Floyd.

This roster doesn’t resemble the Super Bowl-winning one from two seasons ago.

Rams NFC Championship Odds

Rams: Win NFC Championship (+4500)

Unsurprisingly, the Rams have long odds of winning the NFC Championship.

Given the salary cap concerns, the lack of depth, and the number of star players coming off significant injuries, it is hard to know what to expect from LA this season.

While offseason reports say that Stafford will be a full go for training camp, there were rumors of him pondering retirement not long ago.

The Rams will need their quarterback to be back at his best to compete this season.

Rams NFC West Winner Odds

Rams: Win NFC West (+1000)

The latest NFC West odds see the division as a two-horse race, with the 49ers (-160) and Seahawks (+195) way ahead of the Rams and Cardinals (+2500).

Los Angeles finished third in the division last season and is a good bet to do so again in 2023.

Given the current state of the roster, there’s little hope this team will keep up with San Francisco and Seattle.

Rams Make Playoffs Odds

Rams: Miss Playoffs (-370)

Los Angeles has +300 odds of making the NFL playoffs in 2023, implying the Rams have a 25% chance of returning to the postseason after a one-year absence.

The much safer bet is to take the Rams to miss the postseason at -370, though locking up your money for four-plus months for that price isn’t ideal.

Rams Regular-Season Win Total Odds

Rams: Under 6.5 Wins (-115)

The Rams’ 2023 win total is set at 6.5 games, with the odds slightly favoring the Under (-115) against the Over (-105).

However, Los Angeles’ schedule doesn’t do it many favors as it will match up against the AFC North and NFC East, two of the most balanced divisions in football.

Currently, DraftKings has the Rams favored in just four games this season (Cardinals twice, at Colts, vs Commanders), but there are a few coin-flips in there as well.

Still, I’m not sure I see Los Angeles beating Washington, let alone winning three other games as outright underdogs. The Under is the play at this price.
