The Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2022 season was a rollercoaster ride that ended on a high note.

After a 4-8 start, the Jaguars won their last five games to snatch the division title from the Titans. Their momentum carried into the playoffs, where they remarkably overcame a 27-0 first-half deficit to defeat the Chargers 31-30 in the wild-card round.

While their season ultimately ended the following week against the eventual Super Bowl champion Chiefs, the 2022 campaign was a significant step forward for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and the franchise.

Let’s look at the Jaguars’ betting odds for the 2023 NFL season and see what they can do for an encore.

Jaguars Futures Betting Odds

Note: These NFL odds are current as of Monday, June 12, and provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Win Super Bowl: +2500
  • Win AFC Championship: +1200
  • Win AFC South: -150
  • Make Playoffs: Yes (-195) / No (+165)
  • Regular-Season Win Total: Over 9.5 (-135) / Under 9.5 (+115)

Jaguars Super Bowl 58 Odds

Jaguars: Win Super Bowl (+2500)

At 25-1, the Jaguars are dark-horse candidates in the latest 2023 Super Bowl odds.

Their performance against the Chiefs in the 2022 divisional round, where they lost by just seven points on the road, showed promise. However, there’s still work to be done.

Adding Calvin Ridley, a top receiver coming off a year-long suspension for sports betting, should elevate the offense to a new level.

And if Jacksonville’s pass defense can take a significant step forward after surrendering 238.5 yards per game last season (fifth most in the NFL), Doug Pederson’s squad could compete for the franchise’s first Lombardi Trophy.

Jaguars AFC Championship Odds

Jaguars: Win AFC Championship (+1200)

The Jaguars have made it to the AFC Championship Game three times in franchise history but have yet to advance to the Super Bowl, losing once again in their most recent appearance in 2017.

The Jaguars are building toward breaking that streak, but the defense will need to step up significantly to contend with the top teams in the conference.

However, with the proper adjustments, the Jaguars could be a serious contender for the AFC Championship in 2023.

Jaguars AFC South Winner Odds

Jaguars: Win AFC South (-150)

The Jaguars are the overwhelming favorites in the preseason AFC South odds.

However, it should be noted that the franchise hasn’t won back-to-back division titles since the 1998 and 1999 seasons when it was part of the AFC Central.

This year looks as good as any to end that run, especially when considering the other teams in the division. The Colts and Texans just drafted their quarterbacks of the future and are committed to rebuilding, while the Titans could be heading down the road soon.

Given all that, the Jaguars are a great bet to repeat as division champions.

Jaguars Make Playoffs Odds

Jaguars: Make Playoffs (-195)

The Jaguars ended a four-year playoff drought in 2022 and look poised to make it back in 2023.

Not only does Jacksonville have a talented quarterback, an experienced coach, and a capable roster, but it also has an easy path to the postseason as the likely division champion of a weak AFC South.

However, I’d rather bet on the Jags to win the division than lay the juice on their -195 odds of making the NFL playoffs.

Jaguars Regular-Season Win Total Odds

Jaguars: Over 9.5 Wins (-135)

The Jaguars’ win total is set at 9.5 games, with the Over slightly juiced compared to the Under (+115).

History would tell us to take the Under at plus money, mainly since Jacksonville has only recorded double-digit wins three times this century.

However, a one-win improvement from last season seems plenty doable. The Jaguars should win at least five of their six divisional games and will also play against the NFC South, another weak division.

Taking Jacksonville to win the AFC South is the safer bet, but if you want a slightly better price, the Over seems like a viable option.
