The 2022 season was a year to forget for the Chicago Bears. Chicago lost its final 10 games to finish with a 3-14 record, the worst mark in the NFL.

To accelerate the rebuilding process this offseason, the Bears traded the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver DJ Moore and additional draft compensation.

Moore, a proven No. 1 option, will provide a much-needed boost to the Bears’ receiving corps and give third-year quarterback Justin Fields a reliable target, something he has yet to have in his NFL career.

Let’s take a closer look at the latest Bears betting odds for the 2023 NFL season.

Bears Futures Betting Odds

Note: These NFL betting odds are current as of Friday, June 9, and provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

  • Win Super Bowl: +5000
  • Win NFC Championship: +3000
  • Win NFC North: +400
  • Make Playoffs: Yes (+160) / No (-200)
  • Regular-Season Win Total: Over 7.5 (-130) / Under 7.5 (+110)

Bears Super Bowl 58 Odds

Bears: Win Super Bowl (+5000)

The Bears (+5000) are considered longshots in the preseason Super Bowl 58 odds, but this price is pretty low for a team that won just three games last season.

That means oddsmakers believe there is potential for improvement in Chicago this campaign, with a promising young QB in Fields being the principal reason.

The Ohio State product showed flashes of brilliance last season, especially with his legs, but he still has much to prove.

His development as a passer will be crucial for the Bears’ chances, but it’s a tall order to expect a Super Bowl run at this stage of his career.

Bears NFC Championship Odds

Bears: Win NFC Championship (+3000)

The Bears’ odds to win the NFC Championship stand at +3000, again putting them in the longshot category.

Chicago hasn’t won a playoff game in over a decade and hasn’t reached the NFC Championship Game since 2006.

A dominant defense, once a staple of Bears’ football, has gone missing in recent years. Chicago allowed a league-high 27.2 points per game last season.

The free-agent signing of linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, a former Pro Bowler, should help this unit improve, but this roster still has too many holes to compete at the top of the conference.

Bears NFC North Winner Odds

Bears: Win NFC North (+400)

Chicago has the third-best odds of winning the NFC North, with Detroit (+130) and Minnesota (+250) in the pole positions to compete for the division crown.

However, the Bears have a history of surprising people and won a division title as recently as 2018.

If Chicago’s defense can improve and Fields can find his rhythm as a passer, there’s a chance the Bears could go from worst to first in the division.

Bears Make Playoffs Odds

Bears: Miss Playoffs (-200)

The Bears’ odds to make the NFL playoffs (+160) are intriguing, but this team is likely still a year away.

Chicago most recently made the playoffs in 2020, but only as a wild card with an 8-8 record.

Given the 17-game schedule and the three-wild-card-team playoff format, it’s unlikely that an eight-win season would be enough to secure a playoff spot.

The Bears must show significant improvement to make it back to the postseason.

Bears Regular-Season Win Total Odds

Bears: Over 7.5 Wins (-130)

The Bears’ win total is set at 7.5 games, with the odds slightly juiced to the Over.

While Chicago has won just nine of 34 games over the last two seasons, there are reasons for optimism.

The Bears have a favorable last-place schedule, which also includes games against the NFC South, arguably the weakest division in football. Additionally, the arrival of Moore and the continued development of Fields could provide a significant boost to Chicago’s offense.

If everything falls into place, the Bears could exceed expectations and win eight or more games.
