The college football season seems to be moving at a blistering pace as we are already in Week 4. In my predictions for Week 3, we split our best bets for the second straight week.

Liberty and Penn State covered the spread as road favorites to get us our two wins. However, Boston College played Florida State closer than expected, and Colorado defeated Colorado State in overtime despite entering as 22.5-point home favorites.

With another exciting slate of games on tap, here are our college football best bets and predictions for Week 4.

College Football Week 4 Predictions

All NCAAF betting odds used for these predictions are current as of Tuesday, Sept. 19, and courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Liberty vs FIU Prediction: Liberty -10 (-112)

The Flames have been a team I’ve backed each week this season, and they’ve come through each time. After blowing out Buffalo on the road last week 55-27 as 2.5-point favorites, Liberty enters Saturday’s road matchup with FIU as 10-point favorites.

Despite losing Hugh Freeze at head coach, the Flames haven’t lost a beat with Jamey Chadwell. It also helps that quarterback Kaidon Salter looks comfortable so far for Liberty, throwing for 763 yards and nine touchdowns, along with 191 rushing yards and another three scores on the ground.

FIU has gotten off to a solid 3-1 start after beating UConn, North Texas, and Maine in the last three weeks. That said, the Flames are a perfect 3-0 ATS this season, and there’s no reason to believe they won’t cover against the Panthers in Week 4.

BYU vs Kansas Prediction: Over 55.5 Points (-110)

BYU will play its first conference game since joining the Big 12 on Saturday against Kansas. The Cougars are coming off a 38-31 shootout victory over Arkansas a week ago, and they’ll be taking on another electric offense this weekend.

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels has completed 42 of his 56 attempts for 575 yards thus far, though he has only thrown two touchdown passes after missing Week 1. However, the running game for the Jayhawks has been firing on all cylinders, with Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw Jr. combining for 478 rushing yards and eight scores on the ground.

Kansas has recorded 31-plus points in each of its first three contests this season, while BYU has put up 38-plus points in back-to-back games.

There should be plenty of scoring in Saturday’s Big 12 matchup between BYU and Kansas, making the Over an enticing wager.

Oregon State vs Washington State Prediction: Washington State +3 (-118)

On Saturday night, We should have an exciting Pac-12 showdown between No. 14 Oregon State and No. 21 Washington State.

Both programs are undefeated through the first three weeks, but Washington State is a home underdog against a ranked opponent for the second time this season. The Cougars beat a then-ranked Wisconsin squad 31-22 as 5.5-point underdogs in Week 2.

Cameron Ward has been stellar for Washington State, throwing for 990 yards and nine touchdowns. As for Oregon State, Clemson transfer D.J. Uiagalelei has looked formidable with 630 yards, six touchdowns, and two interceptions in his first three starts.

Washington State is capable of winning this game outright at home, so getting the Cougars +3 seems like a gift from Vegas.
